In 1992, l was fortunate enough to land a great job as the TV spokesperson for the International House of Pancakes, better known as IHOP. For nearly a decade I appeared in scores of TV and radio commercials, traveled the country making personal appearances, and signed over 70,000 “Cliff at IHOP” pictures.
One of the best parts of the job was that I was invited to appear and participate in various charitable fund raising events. During my reign as spokesman, I’m proud to say that I helped raise over two million dollars for charities ranging from Special Olympics, to various police and fire organizations.
